• Why 316?
  We supply fixings manufactured from 316 stainless steel. 316 is more resistant to corrosion than 304 stainless. This makes 316 stainless steel far more suitable for outdoor, marine and wet environments.
  
• What is Molybdenum?
  Molybdenum is the element added to 316 stainless steel to give it superior resistance to corrosion.
  
• Why plastic bags?
• It was tricky to find the best way to package our fixings. We started out by looking in to using small cardboard boxes but it soon became clear that these were not going to be robust enough and weren’t really suited to life in damp environments. We found that robust, resealable and reusable plastic bags provided the best option for supplying and storing our fixings.
• Why small quantities?
  Most DIY or maintenance jobs require a comparatively small number of screws, washers or nuts. Buying larger quantities often means having lots of excess and having to pay extra postage. Our smaller quantity packs provide the ideal solution.
  
• Why Amazon?
  Because when we want materials, we want them next day. Amazon have the quickest and cheapest order delivery available, along with the very best customer service.
• What about the environment?
  We carefully consider all of our packaging. Our robust reusable bags provide packaging which can double up as storage. When we are sending our goods to our distributors we use recycled (and recyclable) boxes, packing material, tape and labels. Our HQ has solar panels and maximises natural light, therefore reducing our carbon footprint. Our product range is aimed to meet the needs of people carrying out ongoing maintenance, repair and restoration. It is much more environmentally friendly to repair than to replace.
